Maui-based Pacific Defense Solutions has been awarded a $9.7 million contract for space situational awareness research and development.
The work will be performed at the tech company’s Kihei office, and the work is expected to be completed by Feb. 8, 2016, the Defense Department said.
The contract was awarded by the Air Force Research Laboratory at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico.
