Overview and Highlights

 Co-hosted by The Boeing Company, the conference kicks off with the welcome reception providing participants with a unique networking opportunity. Surrounded by tropical breezes participants and their guests were greeted with a shell lei, a beverage, appetizers, all while listening to the U.S. Air Force Band of the Pacific.
   
 Over 110 technical papers were presented in oral and poster sessions by engineers and technical specialists from around the globe. In addition to strong technical content, AMOS presented a pre-conference SSA Forum along with a panel on the Impact of Space Technology Transfer & Commercialization.
   
 In what’s become a highly anticipated annual event, this year’s Space in the Classroom activities, Co-sponsored by Space Foundation, included 300 middle school students and teachers participating in Audience with an Astronaut and hands-on STEM activities.
