REGISTRATION

When does registration open in 2024?

Registration opens in April with early bird rates closing June 28. Be on the mailing list to be amongst the first to receive the announcement.

Are seats limited? Can I register onsite?
Seats are limited and last year sold-out well in advance. Onsite registration will not be available if sold-out in advance.
With record attendance expected again at the 2024 annual AMOS Conference, the main meeting room will be at capacity during the popular sessions. Attendees will be directed to an overflow room to watch the livestream or they can view them on the virtual conference platform/app.
I can no longer attend. How do I cancel my registration? What is the refund policy?

If you are no longer able to attend in-person, we encourage you to transfer your registration to a virtual ticket to have access to all the sessions, either live or on-demand after the event.

To transfer or cancel please contact us. If making a substitute, please provide  name of new attendee. They will need to start a registration (create a profile) to initiate the transfer.

Cancellations prior to August 16, 2024 will receive a full refund less $75 processing fee. No fees will be refunded after this date or for no-shows. Last day to substitute a registration, or transfer to a virtual registration is September 11, 2024.

How do I transfer my registration to a substitute?

Last day to substitute a registration, or transfer to a virtual registration is September 11, 2024.

Please ask the substitute to start a registration (create a profile), then contact us and provide name of who you wish to transfer your registration to. We will transfer the existing payment to the new registrant.

Am I registered if I choose to pay later?

Registration is not confirmed until payment is made. Early bird registrations must be paid by the deadline of June 28. Any registrations that are incomplete after June 28 (i.e. without payment) will lose the early bird rate.  Details on rates can be found at https://amostech.com/registration

How do I know I'm registered? Do I get a physical ticket?

You will receive confirmation of registration in an email from info@amostech.com with an invoice  attached. The name on the invoice is the name of the registrant (unless the invoice is for a group.) We do not issue physical tickets. When you check-in at AMOS, staff will check for your name in the system and check your ID.

How do I change my registration?

You can login to the registration and update your profile and you can add short courses to your existing registration. When you add a short course keep all other registration details, including registration type. At checkout you will be prompted to pay the additional short course fee(s).

Warning: If you remove/delete the registration type you will be cancelling your registration!

If you are changing type of registration (in-person to virtual for example) then you first delete the existing registration type and then add the preferred type.

If a refund is due for switching to virtual, or you wish to transfer registration to a colleague please contact us.

How do one or two day registrations work? Can I select which days to attend?

When you select either 1-Day Registration or 2-Day Registration you will see an option to select the days you will be attending.

I have a virtual ticket but will be on Maui. Can I attend networking receptions or visit the exhibit hall?

No. Virtual registration does not allow access to the in-person venue and/or events.

STAYING IN MAUI

How do I book accommodation for the AMOS Conference?

The AMOS Conference contracts a limited block of rooms at the Wailea Beach Resort Marriott. As often happens with large Conferences, it is not feasible to house all participants at a single venue.

The unprecedented growth of the AMOS Conference and commitments to conference leadership and stakeholders has led to our room block reaching capacity. We recommend you secure alternative lodging with options listed at – https://amostech.com/attendee-info/

What parking is available at the venue?

Complimentary self-parking is available for participants not staying on property. With anticipated numbers, and the majority of attendees staying elsewhere, we encourage you to carpool if possible. Parking gates will be left open Wed-Fri. If the parking structure is full, overflow parking is available next door at The Shops at Wailea.

ATTENDEE LIST & PRIVACY POLICY

Can I get a copy of the attendee list?

Registered participants will have access to the virtual platform by Friday September 15 with the ability to view and connect virtually with attendees.

An actual list is included in the proceedings when made available after the conference. In line with our privacy policy, we do not share email and contact details with others, including sponsors.

Someone is trying to sell me a list of AMOS attendees - do you share my details with third parties?

Maui Economic Development Board does not sell its attendee list to third parties. If you receive an email solicitation regarding the AMOS Conference list, please do not respond as it may be a phishing exercise and is an inaccurate representation by the third party.

VIEWING PRESENTATIONS – VIRTUAL

How will I attend virtually? Is it a Zoom meeting?

It is more than a Zoom meeting. A week before the conference you will be given access to the Conference venue which you can access on any device through a browser. Nothing to download! You will be able to navigate to the Live sessions, the Poster Hall, and more. Please whitelist no-reply@xcd.com and info@amostech.com to be sure you receive notification of how to access the venue, as well as other conference related notices.

Why am I having trouble accessing the platform or the sessions once I'm logged in?

The most common issues are a VPN connection that is blocking the application, or type of internet browser you are using. Please temporarily disable your VPN if you are having trouble. In addition, check that your internet browser is up-to-date. Chrome is the preferred internet browser, followed by Firefox and Safari. Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge are not supported.

If you are still having trouble, speak to your IT department about whitelisting these domains.

Registrants will receive details to access both of these a week before AMOS. Virtual attendees will be able to view all sessions live including the Keynotes, Policy Forums and all technical sessions.
