We are busy preparing for the 14th Annual AMOS Conference to be held at the Wailea Marriott 10-13 September and have published the 2013 Conference Program.
Record-Breaking Abstract Submissions!
Over 120 abstracts were received this year including international representation from Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Japan, Poland, Spain, Switzerland and the Ukraine.
Relevant Technical Presentations!
We are looking forward to a strong technical program with content that is mission critical to the world of SSA today. The presentations this year tell a remarkably coherent story including how new objects are being detected by newer and better telescope systems, the techniques being used to detect those newly discovered objects and the methods being used to predict accurately where those objects will be the next time we look for them.
There will be a very strong session on the recent developments in adaptive optics and imaging techniques that allow enhanced imagery of some satellites, as well as satellite characterization without imagery. There will also be a focus on space-based assets, some of which will be supporting SSA, and others about adapting concepts for space operations.
